The DACE Ultima HT18/36 Gate Operator Kit is a high-traffic sliding gate automation system designed for residential and light commercial applications where frequent gate operation is required. The HT18/36 incorporates a reinforced steel drive cog and high-efficiency motor system to support demanding residential and light commercial environments.
This makes the operator suitable for locations such as:
Multi-residential driveways
Small commercial properties
Shared rural entrances
High-use residential gates
The HT18/36 takes its name from its operating speed, capable of running at 18 metres per minute at 12V or 36 metres per minute at 24V, providing faster opening and closing cycles compared with standard residential gate motors.
The low-voltage DC motor is suitable for sliding gates up to 11 metres in length and 600 kg in weight, making it well suited to residential driveway gates, rural entrances, multi-dwelling properties, and light commercial premises.
The Ultima control system features an advanced logic board with a graphical display and voice-guided setup, allowing installers to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot the system efficiently.
Rack Requirements
Please note: 4 metres of gear rack is included with this kit.
To determine how much rack you need:
Measure the gate opening width.
Add an additional 500 mm to allow the motor to fully open the gate.
If the total required rack length is greater than 4 metres, additional rack sections will be required.
Available in Mains Power or with a Solar Power Kit.
The Ultima HT18/36 Mains Power Kit can be powered from a 240V mains supply, using the included transformer.
The transformer allows the control unit to be installed up to 50 metres from the power source.
A solar upgrade kit is available for installations where mains power is not available within 50m of the gate location.
Control & Operation
The Ultima control system provides an advanced interface designed to simplify installation, operation, and diagnostics.
The graphical control board includes over 300 configurable menu items, allowing the installer to tailor gate behaviour to the specific installation.
An integrated voice-guided setup system assists during installation and troubleshooting, while the joystick navigation allows quick access to control menus and system settings.
The controller also supports automatic battery charging management, multiple security configurations, and programmable event scheduling.
