RELIABLE SLIDING GATE AUTOMATION

The DACE Sprint Gate Operator Kit is designed for residential, rural, and light-commercial sliding-gate applications, providing reliable automation even in demanding Australian conditions. The solar configuration is particularly well-suited to domestic and farm property installations where mains power is not available at the gate location.

The low-voltage DC motor is suitable for sliding gates up to 18 metres in length and 500 kg in weight, making it well-suited to residential driveway gates, farm entrances, and shared property access points.

The Sprint system features simple one-touch programming and a bright LCD display, allowing installers to quickly configure the motor and monitor system status. A sealed control board helps protect internal electronics from pests and environmental exposure, while the durable steel drive components provide long-term reliability.

The DACE Sprint Gate Operator Kit is available in mains-powered or solar configurations.

For mains-powered installations, the supplied transformer allows the motor unit to be installed up to 50 metres from the nearest power outlet, providing flexibility where power is not located directly at the gate.

For installations where mains power is unavailable, or the nearest power outlet is more than 50 metres from the motor location, a solar kit is recommended.

Rack Requirements

Please note: 4 metres of gear rack is included with this kit.

To determine how much rack you need:

Measure the gate opening width.
Add an additional 500 mm to allow the motor to fully open the gate.

If the total required rack length is greater than 4 metres, additional rack sections will be required.

Power Options

Available in Mains Power or with a Solar Power Kit.

The Sprint Duraslide is battery operated and can be powered from a 240V mains supply, using the included transformer or one 40 Watt Solar Panel.

In the Mains Power Kit, the transformer allows the control unit to be installed up to 50 metres from the power source.
A solar upgrade kit is available for installations where mains power is not available within 50m of the gate location.

Control & Operation

The Sprint operator features simple one-touch programming and a bright LCD display that provides clear system status and easy menu navigation.
Multiple operating modes are available, including auto-close, multi-user access, and pedestrian opening mode.
The control system supports integration with safety beams and additional access control devices, allowing the system to be expanded for more complex installations.

Conditions of Installation

Before installation begins, the gate must be in good working order. Check the following points and rectify any issues before installing the operator:

The gate must slide freely along the track with minimal resistance.
The gate track must be straight, level, and free from debris.
Gate posts and support structures must be solid and secure.
Ensure the gate weight and length are within the operator specifications.

Note: Automatic gate operators should only be installed by a qualified automatic gate installer or licensed electrician.
